Your AI literacy record, kept in one place.

LiteracyLog helps small European companies list the AI tools they use, who uses them, the training and guidance each person received, and the internal AI use policy — and export it as one dated evidence pack. Built around Article 4 of the AI Act, as amended in July 2026.

Problem01 / 07

Why it's messy today

  1. P-01

AI arrived bottom-up. Chat assistants, writing tools and AI features inside existing software were adopted team by team, and few small companies have a current list of which tools are used, by whom and for what.

  2. P-02

The duty is still there, just lighter. Since 2 February 2025 Article 4 has asked providers and deployers to act on AI literacy. The Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) changed it in July 2026 to taking measures to support staff literacy — no certificate and no guaranteed level, but you still need to be able to show what you did.

  3. P-03

The evidence is scattered. Slides from a workshop, a policy in a shared drive, attendance in someone's inbox. When a client questionnaire, an auditor or a market surveillance authority asks, rebuilding the story takes days.

Solution02 / 07

What LiteracyLog does

  • AI systems inventory

One register of the AI tools and features in use, your role for each (deployer or provider), the teams that use them and what they're used for.

    B-01
  • Dated training records

Who received which training, briefing or guidance, when, with the materials attached — in-house sessions and external courses alike, with no certificate required.

    B-02
  • Policy and evidence pack

Keep your internal AI use policy versioned with acknowledgements, and export a dated PDF evidence pack of everything you've done to support AI literacy.

    B-03

Process03 / 07

How it works

  1. Step 1: List your AI tools

Add the AI systems your company uses, who uses them and for what. Start from a library of common tools instead of a blank sheet.

  2. Step 2: Map people to tools

See which roles use which systems, and where people have had no guidance yet — tailored to their knowledge and the context of use.

  3. Step 3: Record what you do

Log trainings, briefings, guides and policy acknowledgements with dates and materials, including courses you buy elsewhere.

  4. Step 4: Export the pack

Generate a dated evidence pack (PDF) for client questionnaires, internal audits or an authority's request.

FAQ06 / 07

Questions, answered

Q01 Is AI literacy still an obligation after the Digital Omnibus?

Yes, in a lighter form. Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, in force since 27 July 2026, replaced Article 4: providers and deployers must take measures to support the development of AI literacy of their staff and others using AI on their behalf, taking into account their knowledge and the context of use. It explicitly does not require guaranteeing any specific level of literacy for any individual. The Commission and Member States are tasked with supporting these efforts, especially for SMEs. Check the current text on EUR-Lex, as it may change again.

Q02 Do I need a certificate?

No. The European Commission's AI literacy Q&A says there is no need for a certificate, and that organisations can keep an internal record of trainings and other guiding initiatives. LiteracyLog is built to keep that internal record tidy — it does not issue certificates.

Q03 Does LiteracyLog make my company compliant?

No software can do that. LiteracyLog organises your inventory, records and policy so you can see what you have done and show it. Deciding what measures fit your company remains your decision. LiteracyLog is not legal advice.

Q04 Does it include training courses?

Not at launch. You can record in-house sessions, briefings and guides, and log courses bought from any provider. We may add short starter materials later, but the product is the register, not a course library.

Q05 What about high-risk AI systems?

If you deploy a high-risk AI system, Article 26(2) separately requires you to assign human oversight to people with the necessary competence, training and authority. LiteracyLog lets you record that training per system, but high-risk obligations go well beyond what this tool covers.

Q06 Where is data stored?

We are building LiteracyLog to host data in the EU, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and never use your records to train models or share them with third parties. You will be able to export and delete everything at any time.

Q07 When will it be available?

LiteracyLog is in development. We will onboard a small group of founding companies first. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when there is something to try.

Q08 Can I pre-order?

Yes. A pre-order charges the first month (€29) upfront. If LiteracyLog doesn't launch, you get a full refund, and you can ask for a full refund at any time before delivery, for any reason; we process refunds within 14 days.
